Workshop booking terms

A few simple things to know before you book a place on one of our workshops.

Booking your place

Workshops are booked online with a £10 deposit per person. The remaining £15 is paid in the shop on the day, by cash or card. You can also book and pay in person at 80 Commercial Street.

Places are limited to 8 per workshop so that everyone gets plenty of help. Once a date is full it will show as sold out. Email us at yarnhousebrighouse@gmail.com if you would like to go on the waiting list.

Deposits and cancellations

The £10 deposit is non-refundable. It holds your place and covers the hook, yarn and refreshments we prepare for you.

If you can no longer come, let us know as early as you can.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop, we will offer you a place on the next date or a full refund of your deposit.

On the day

Workshops run from 1pm to 3pm on the second Sunday of the month. Please arrive about 10 minutes early. Everything you need is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own hook if you have one you like.

The workshop room is upstairs and there is no lift, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Please get in touch if you have any questions about access.

Workshops are for adults and young people aged 14 and over. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult who has also booked a place.
