Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, you'll find a carefully chosen selection of yarns, patterns and accessories, plus a relaxed workshop room upstairs where you can sit, stitch and unwind.
I'm Katie, and I've been knitting and crocheting since I was 13, when I first discovered the comfort of yarn crafts. Taught by my mum and encouraged by my grandma, who lived just a couple of doors away, these skills quickly became a lifelong passion.
After nine years working in a yarn shop, teaching and supporting others, I opened Yarn House in June 2026 to create a space of my own where everyone is welcome to learn, ask questions and feel at home.
You'll often find my mum Odelle and my auntie Tracy helping out in the shop, and Meg the poodle comes to work with me every day.
Whether you're popping in for advice, joining a workshop or simply taking a moment for yourself, you'll always find a friendly face and a warm welcome here.
