WORKSHOPS
Learn to crochet
A relaxed two hours for complete beginners, upstairs at the shop on the second Sunday of every month, 1pm to 3pm. You will learn how to hold the hook, make your first stitches and read a simple pattern. Hook, yarn, tea and coffee are all included.
£25 per person. Pay a £10 deposit online to book your place, the other £15 on the day. Just 8 places, so everyone gets help.
The workshop room is upstairs with no lift access.
Knit and Natter, every Thursday
Bring whatever you are making and sit and stitch with us. 1pm to 3pm, £3 a person, tea and coffee included. No need to book, just turn up.
ABOUT THE SHOP
Hello, I'm Katie
I've been knitting and crocheting since I was 13, taught by my mum and encouraged by my grandma. After nine years working in a yarn shop, teaching and helping others, I opened Yarn House in June 2026.
It's a calm, welcoming space where everyone can learn, ask questions and feel at home. You might also meet my mum Odelle, my auntie Tracy and Meg, the poodle who comes to work with me every day.
